As of July 1, Republic Services’ curbside recycling service will only be available to residents of Davie County who also have curbside garbage collection. During the weeks of June 28 to July 15, Republic Services will begin collecting recycling carts from residents who do not have curbside recycling.
During the transition of the recycling service, residents can still register for curbside recycling and qualify for one month of free curbside recycling service if they are registered before July 2, 2021. To register, call 800.832 .5439 or 336.751.1585. Mention promo code DAVIENEWCUSTOMER to secure one month of free recycling service.
Bundled waste and recycling will be $ 22.68 per month after the month of free service (if you signed up before July 2). Residents of Mocksville, Bermuda Run and Cooleemee will not be affected, as this service will be covered by each city’s individual user fees.
County residents who choose not to enroll in the curbside recycling program can still use the Davie County convenience store, located at 360 Dalton Road in Mocksville. The rates are as follows:
– $ 10 for a car or a pickup charge
– $ 25 for a trailer load
– $ 35 for a pick-up and a trailer
âSorted recyclable materials, metal and household appliances can be dropped off free of charge.
Once again, for residents who currently receive a curbside recycling service and who have not registered for the curbside recycling and recycling program, their recycling container will be collected and removed between June 28 and July 15.
